Silly nonsense, of the damned.
So, when I go a month or so without updating I begin to feel a wee bit guilty. You may begin to wonder what I've been doing;
#1 priority has been finding a post-college career, certainly not easy to do in the economic charnel house that is New Bedford. Also, maybe I'm taking things a bit personally, but it seems that some folks have a problem hiring sarcastic mummies in entry-level management positions. Racists.
Since I am technically a bum at the moment,
I try to stay in character by doing nothing productive at all. Hooray for video
games!
You know, I can't believe I got snookered again. I believed the negative reviews
of 'Mortal Kombat: Armageddon'. In truth, I haven't had this much fun with a
fighter since the old glory days of MK2.
This is in part due to the new Kreate a Kharacter mode. Yes, it's a MK game with
every single character ever in the history of the franchise, and you can make
your own! Good God, how could you not love that!? I had to buy a couple' more
memory cards just to get the monkey off my back! I've created players based on
everything from a zombified Lincoln, to European horror film stars, to deadite
versions of the characters from 'Daria'.

Speaking of which, that's yet another way
I've been frittering away my existence, pining over the loss of such a sweetly
biting little program. They don't even show the idiotically censored version on
Noggin anymore. I'm reduced to reading fan fiction just to satisfy my cynical
jones. (At this point, you must pity me just a little, don't you?)
Anybody have any old uncut MTV episodes they care to share with a nostalgic old
coot?
(Which reminds me, I'm opening a new tape trading page. Check
it out if you like.)
Note from future Boggy; I broke down and bought the whole series on pirate dvd. (Arhgggh matey! ...sorry.) Please ignore my piteous request, as if you didn't already.
I promise after the novelty of these
diversions wears off, I'll review another film or two.
(Yeah, I'm sure the world is waiting with baited breath.)
