The Bog Man presents; How to do stuff
Save YouTube videos.

Hey, there's tons of cool stuff on both YouTube, horror's just the start of it! Trouble is, you can't save it to your hard drive, and if you have pokey ol' dial-up like me, you can't exactly watch it either. Well I can fix that;

  1. Search for what you want on YouTube, when you find a clip you like, right click on the link and select "Copy Link Location." (Or whatever your browser's equivalent for copying the Url would be.
  2. Go to this site, paste the Url in the "Video to Save" box, and click "Go."
  3. Click on the new url that appears under the box, when saving the file, name it whatever you like, but add .flv at the end.
  4. Realize that you don't have a flash video player.
  5. Go to Cnet or ZDnet and try to find a good player or converter. Like this'in. (Hey, I said I would teach you something useful, not do all the work for you!)
  6. Enjoy. Or don't. None of my business.

Note from future Boggy; The new Realplayer has not only flv support, but the ability to directly save internet video built right in. So down load it for free, and ignore everything I just said. (Do'h!)
