Hello everyone,
For those of you who came to this page from a search engine looking to do some tape trading, (NAN or otherwise) you're in the right place. I'll get down to the nitty gritty details in just a moment, if you'd be so good as to indulge me. Those of you who followed this link from my main website HauntedBog.com, may wonder why this page is so different from the rest. Basically, I'm setting up a tape trading page, focusing on the the old comedy talk show 'Night after Night with Allan Havey'. This page is separate from my main site as it's not in fitting with the central theme. (Horror reviews and such) But hey, I have the server space, why not take advantage of it?  

In fact, I wanted to build this page for a very specific reason. Back in the day I was a devoted viewer of 'Night after Night'. (a.k.a., the greatest late night show in the history of mankind) Learning of it's imminent cancellation, I wise enough to start taping NAN about two weeks or so before it parted this vale of tears. As consequence, I still have quite a few episodes and clips on hand, and I'm willing to trade them with other fans. However, whenever I searched online for NAN tape traders, I found absolutely nada. (If I'm missing anyone out there, please let me know!) I put this page up hoping that anyone Googling for NAN trades will come across it, let's expand each other's collections, shall we?

A few general Tape trading notes;

• My current contact info is TheBogMan at HauntedBog dot com or TheDullahan at Netscape.com if that one's down. Folks, call me The Bog Man, and by folks I mean me.

• Please put something specific about tape trading in the subject line, I get a lot of SPAM

• Quantity is relative. You don't have to have archives full of of what I'm looking for. I might be willing to trade the whole kit n' caboodle for just a few moments/episodes or some of the rare things I'm looking for. If you have very little, don't be shy about contacting me, we can still work things out.

• If you're not particularly looking for NAN, but see that we share a few interests from the wanted list below, feel free to inquire about anything you might be desperately searching for. I have esoteric tastes and a collector's eye, I might just have something for ye. (Especially Horror Hosts)

• I have no idea what the demand for these tapes will be, if any, nor how busy my schedule might be in the future. In any case, if it takes me a little while to complete your order, I hope you are understanding.

• I'm pretty easy going about format. As you can tell, I’m a bit of a movie geek so just about any format dvd, vhs, vcd would be acceptable. The only thing that I ask is that the medium be of suitable quality. (For instance, "Playo" brand dvds are unacceptable. They are routinely defective. Fuji products are my fav, they are reliable and usually the cheapest on the market (especially given the occasional sale.)

• A note or two about quality; The episodes themselves are actually pretty nice for cranky old EP tapes copied to dvd, but certainly not crystal-clear blue-ray or anything. (A bit of grain, and hissing from VHS white noise.) Note, Most of the shows have incomplete pre-credits intros.

• As for the quality of anything I request from you, all I ask is that it is watchable without giving me an aneurysm. (Please, no incredibly jumpy video, or inaudible muffled audio.) 

• I'm able to copy anything to Dvd+R (I tend to use Fuji and HP brand disks, it depends on what I have in stock) I could copy to vhs as well I suppose, but the accompanying costs would be a little higher.

I can't tell you the original air dates for eps 2-14 only that I taped these the last three weeks or so NAN was on the air. The first 6 episodes are re-broadcasts. (Featuring a bearded Alan!) The last two episodes were rescued from a malfunctioning tape, and the quality's a bit lower than the others.

*I also should mention that I have a growing collection of Horror Hosts to trade, in case you're not interested in NAN.*

 My Wanted List is as Follows

• Any Night after Night episodes or clips I do not currently have.
• Host segments or full shows from USA Networks old ‘Up all Night’, ‘Saturday Nightmares’, 'Commander USA' or TNT’s ‘100% Weird’ or ‘Monstervision’. (With or without Joe Bob Briggs)  
• Any other Horror Host shows I don't currently have.
• The 1995 Mortal Kombat movie promo special that aired on TNT (I think It was called “Behind the Dragon,” or something)
• Any early Sam Raimi movies such as “Within the Woods” (Highest possible quality preferred.)
• Any episodes of the 60’s tv show ‘Thriller’ with Boris Karloff
• Anything relating to the ‘Silent Hill’ games (tv spots, print ads, making of material, ect.)
• Any of the following films (unedited greatly preferred):
  Ghostwatch {1992} (UK tv special)
  Noctem {2003}
  Kakashi {2001} (Japanese, aka Scarecrow)
  The Stone Tape {1972}
  The Uncanny{1977}
  At Risk {1994} (Very obscure film starring Kim Myers. She's neat!)

• Any horror themed public access or home movies
• Or any other local, independent, rare or hard to find horror/Halloween themed stuff: including short films, cartoons, horror hosts, seasonal commercials (you get the idea!)
• Failing any video stuff, I’d also accept more tactile items in trade, such as any old collectable horror/Halloween gewgaws, books (I’m especially looking for a copy of ‘Grandpa’s Ghost Stories’ by James Flora.  I do have a more detailed wish list of stuff on titletrader.com), old magazines and pulps, video games, inexpensive relics like broken arrowheads, cull ancient coins, or any other particularly cool, odd, or creepy thing you have lying around. 
• Failing all of this, I think you can tell my general tastes from my request list, and here are a few more areas of interest;
  • MST3K (I have all the eps, save for a few KTMAs. I'd be looking for collectables and such.)
  • Autographs (Horror Stars, mostly)
  • Movie Poster (again, mostly horror related)
  • General film history (Including hardware and actual film, Theater history, Drive-ins, etc.)
  • William Castle and his films
  • Mortal Kombat
  • Video Games in general and their respective History
  • In addition to Silent Hill, I'd be interested in other horror-game collectables, like those tied to Resident Evil, BloodRayne, The Suffering, Nightmare Creatures, Doom, etc.
  • H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulhu mythos
  • Archeology and relics/ Historical artifacts
  • Egyptology
  • Occult Studies (any moldy Sumerian grimories laying about?)
  • The Evil Dead/ Army of Darkness/ Bruce Campbell
  • War/Militaria
  • Daria (The old Mtv Show)
  • Romero's 'Dead' films
  • NewsRadio (the old sitcom) 
  • Radio in general (Old Time Radio related stuff would be of especial interest)
  • Father Ted
  • Shrunken heads, creepy statues, and any other ooky cultural artifacts/studies
  • Lucio Fulci and his films
  • Ancient Celtic Religion/Culture
  • The Shadow
  • Hellboy/Mike Mignola
  • Phantasm/The Tall Man

If you still don’t have anything to offer me, it would be feasible for you to send me a few bucks to cover my time and costs, (or big skads of it if you're feeling nice) plus a small item* but these orders would take second place to regular trades.  
*Technically, it's illegal for me to sell tapes. I can only "trade" for small item, such as your favorite toothpick, a used stamp, etc, and the money we'd consider a "gift".
