Comments:
Wow.
I, just…
Wow.
I have no idea how to start a review for this film.
Maybe some helpful
advice?
Ok, um guys, when you make a movie, you might want to keep
incest out of it. It’s just not as popular you seem to think it is. Also, animal cruelty
never really wows em'. There are a lot of cat people out there. (By “cat
people“, I mean feline enthusiasts, not soul devouring shape shifters.) Oh, and
just one more thing, when you write a story, you might actually want it to, you
know, have a point.
Some interesting characters might be nice. I just really couldn’t bring myself to care for anyone here.
The writing, well, I don’t really remember the writing.
This film just,
…wow. For a picture where someone is stabbed to death with a soggy ear of
corn, the whole thing just seemed to be oddly mirthless. It’s either a very bad
drama, or a comedy that takes itself way too seriously.
That’s the really irritating thing about this film, some parts of it come really close to working. The special effects are good, the music is nice, it’s well-shot, and it’s certainly a novel concept.
Maybe that’s the problem. For what it is, it’s not bad. You can make a competent film about incestuous cat monsters. The question is, why would you want to?
